We have been informed by Chris Binge (school Principal) and Chris Forse (past Assistant Principal), that much loved maths teacher and Head of Nansen House, Gui Vezzaro, passed away on the evening of Monday 29th November.
As you may have known he has been in a precarious position between life and death since his heart attack in August. While there were signs of improvement in some aspects of his status, he was always very open to the damage an infection can cause. This danger arose in the last few days and he succumbed eventually to pneumonia
Chris commented: "Gui was a magnificent teacher and carer, and one of our greatest characters, who served two ESF schools, South and Island, with distinction.
