Sad News to report

Andy McRae has contacted the Alumni website to inform us that his younger brother Alistair of 82 Einstein sadly passed away on Saturday 10th May 2008 after a short illness.  His funeral was in Walthamstow the following week.

I remember Alistair, who lived next door to me in Pokfulam, as a happy, fun, expressive little boy. This is very, very sad news indeed. My condolences to Angela and Andrew. Christina Cooper nee Drake

I too remember Alistair with fond memories and was extremely saddened to hear the news. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever had the priviledge of meeting. My sincere condolences, Alistair will be missed. Amanda Lucas (82E)

Alistair was a cheeerful, positive character even when he was clattered in the head by a missile ball on Block 5 when he was about 13. I can see him now - the cheeky smile and serious intent. My heartfelt sympathies to Andy and all his family. Chris Forse

This is so sad. I was in Alistairs class and remember him so well. Please accept my condolences. I can still vividly remember where Alistair was the only heavy metaller in a class full of punks!But he still held his own, and was eveyone's friend. - Alan Pettie
