The Island School Alumni Association (“ISAA”) was registered as a Society under the Societies Ordinance on 13 October 2005. The ISAA was established to continue to grow its alumni network of members through social media - past students, staff and parents (affectionately known as “Islanders”). Although we have regular social gatherings in Hong Kong such as the March Reunion (to coincide with the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens) and the Summer Drinks Party, we also facilitate reunions in other parts of the world notably the UK, Canada and the USA. In a nutshell, it does not matter where Islanders are located in the world, they are forever connected with Island School.

The ISAA Committee Members:

President – Michael Lok                                                            (06116 Da Vinci)
Vice President – Samuel Wu                                                     (95140 Da Vinci)
Vice President – Carlton Lai                                                      (06113 Da Vinci)
Vice President/Overseas coordinator – Tom Banks (UK)    (75502 Rutherford)
Secretary - Christopher Ma                                                       (99145 Da Vinci)
Treasurer – Jonathan Hui                                                          (96515 Rutherford)

During the past year, the ISAA has worked incredibly hard to establish its mentor and internship programmes.  This enables our recently graduated alums to seek careers advice and training with our established alumni professionals.   Not only is the ISAA supporting alums, it is also supporting current students in Years 10-13 by holding career information lectures with well known professionals.  If you are able to support such a programme, please contact the Alumni Office.

Redevelopment of Island School

Island School celebrates its 50th Anniversary in mid-2017. That same year, the school buildings will be demolished to make way for a state-of-the-art building opening on the same site in 2020.  We are currently planning some very exciting and commemorative events to celebrate the school's history.  If you have any suggestions or would like to participate in the planning process, please contact the Alumni Office.  Above all else, we could not possibly celebrate without our Islanders and hope you will be in Hong Kong to attend Island School’s biggest ever party!   Please check on the ISAA website and Alumni Facebook page for updates.

Island School's Archive

Island School Alumni Association (“ISAA”) is delighted to announce the launch of the “Island School Archive”.  The archive is a centralized school publication storage system which is accessible through the ISAA website.  The archive contains all school related articles: newspaper publications, Year Books, ESF Alumni News, events, anniversaries, students’ projects and photographs spanning almost half a century!  Alumni Members now have the opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater, search for school friends, themselves and staff, school events and trips etc.  To keep our archive up to date please forward any school photographs or articles to the Alum Office!

Lastly, it is always an immense pleasure to welcome Islanders back to the school at any time. Please feel free to drop in and we shall arrange for you to meet the Alumni team as well as staff members.
